CASE: In collaboration with OKTO, we worked on developing a digital service for Mentor Sverige, a non-profit organization that supports young people through mentorship. The platform enables mentors to lead digital group sessions with youth on topics such as entrepreneurship, music, or studying abroad. Our task was to identify the next step in the service’s development and create a solution that makes it more accessible, engaging, interactive, or valuable for both mentors and mentees.
Solution: To create a more relaxed and engaging first interaction between mentors and mentees, we designed a concept that lowers the threshold for getting started. Our goal was to reduce feelings of stiffness, school-like environments, and pressure—making the initial meeting feel more natural and fun. By using gaming as an entry point, mentors stream while playing and are simultaneously available to answer questions in real time. This familiar and playful format helps build connection and trust in a low-stakes setting, setting the tone for the mentorship experience to follow.
